Basford’s Piano Service has been in business
for over thirty years. We specialize
in the tuning, repair, restoration, refinishing,
and complete rebuilding of pianos, reed
organs, harpsichords and clavichords.

Basford’s Piano Service is privilledged to have had the honor to restore two Chickering Square Grand Pianos (from the 1860s) for the Leland Stanford Governor's Mansion in downtown Sacramento. As the last square grand was built in 1904, there are not many people able to repair them. We are proud to be two out of the few piano technicians in California with the professional knowledge and expertise to repair or restore your square grand to its original beauty and glory.

	William Hardy (Master Technician) Bill has over 30 years' experience in the piano business. His craftsmanship is excellent, his work precise and exacting. As a Steinway specialist, Bill is known for his "factory quality" work and classic finishes. Aside from his work in the shop, Bill is also an accomplished pianist and performer.
	Keary Basford (Owner, Concert Tuner, Technician) Keary has over 40 years' experience as a concert tuner and technician. Keary has tuned for famous artists such as Van Cliburn, Liberace, Loretta Lynn, Patti LaBelle and Judy Collins, and is the official tuner for Bill Graham Presents. ____________________________________________________________________________________________
